Four Custom ATR Cooling Options


1. GVS9000 VTR ATR Standard Sealed (VSS)
Standard dry-air enclosure with inner fans for internal air re-circulation. GVS9000 VTR VSS Chassis generated heat is dissipated by a combination of cold-plate conduction, radiation, and free-air convection through ambient air. This minimum maintenance option is ideal for low-wattage applications where ambient air is laden with hostile or harmful contaminants.

2. GVS9000 VTR ATR Sealed With Extended Fins (VEF)
Ultimate self-dissipation sealed enclosures that also incorporate internal air re-circulation fans. These dry-air chassis are fitted with over-size cooling fins on the top cover, rear panel, and side walls in order to maximize radiation and natural convection. Cold-plate mounting is recommended. These low-maintenance sealed GVS9000 VTR VEF chassis is suitable for medium-wattage military and aerospace applications.

3. GVS9000 VTR ATR AIR Flowthrough Cooled (VFC)
Non-sealed chassis in which ambient air is directly forced over the electronic modules using rear-mounted exhaust fans. This highly efficient thermal management technique is suitable for full PSU wattage applications. This type of GVS9000 VTR VFC chassis is a medium-cost option available in a custom configuration with three sizes .

4. GVS9000 VTR ATR Heat Exchanger Sidewalls (VES)
High-performance dry-air chassis incorporating air re-circulation fans inside. The heat generated within the enclosure is conducted to the hollow sidewalls & rear panel heat exchangers where it is dissipated to the ambient environment by forced air cooling rear fans or by vehicle platform air plenum. A top cover heat exchanger is optional. This GVS9000 VTR VES chassis version is suitable for sealed applications up to 3/4 of total PSU wattage.

For online storage, the GVS9000 VTR Mini is designed to work with the latest Nomadic and other Shared storage products   technologies. Connect via fibre channel or 10Gbit to the Nomadic 12xPro, Nomadic 4U or GVS9000 VTR certified storage media. A complete solution from ingest, storage, and editing to film in a single format with a wide range of post-production workflow options. The GVS9000 VTR Mini reduces the time required to capture footage and offers real-time playback at various speeds.

Eliminate tape transfers using real-time technology without rendering video effects to disk. - The GVS9000 VTR Mini saves 2 HOURS of transfer time per hour of material, allowing audio/video onto single SSD media.

Multiple sources of QuickTime ProRes, DPX, JPEG, AVI, and DNxHD material can be played back in sync, without transferring to another medium.
GVS9000VTR Mini Pro configuration is extremely flexible, supporting almost any setup you may ever need. Sync to external TC, generate timecode, manual control with jog shuttle wheel, and even run GVS9000VTR Mini units off a multi-machine Sony 9-pin synchronizer.
GVS9000VTR Mini Pro units can be easily ganged together for multi-camera environments, and automatic file naming and embedding of identification metadata makes life even easier for video editors.
Time stamped recorded with GVS9000VTR Mini Pro with EDL information can easily be transported to desktop tools for a quick preview.

GVS9000 VTR Mini Pro recording is a discreet, timestamped QuickTime movie. The controller can perform insert records (to start a timecode-fed crash record in GVS9000 VTR Mini Pro), you can use the GVS hardware option Sony 9-pin interface which presents a 'pseudo-insert capable' RS422 interface to your controller and converts this to crash record and LTC to GVS9000 VTR Mini Pro with LTC time recall for playback of any clips that are recorded. By presenting clips created outside of the GVS9000 VTR environment can be loaded and playback with a 9-pin controllable video deck, and on-air loading systems can upload material straight from the GVS9000 VTR Mini Pro just as if it were a controlling tape deck. Using this technique saves time and money since no transfers to tape are required, and there is no physical delivery from department to department.
